Lake Shasta is a reservoir created by the Shasta Dam. Very beautiful, almost too much so, definitely looks artificial.

Shasta Caverns

Amazing formations, stalactites & stalagmites all over the place.

The Dam & Museum

Then a brief stop by the dam and some museum (it's been a while).
